October 15 is
Japan Day in Düsseldorf

This year Düsseldorf celebrates its tenth year of Japan Day.
A day full of Japanese culture, food and drink, sports, music, displays, a fashion competition, entertainment and much, much more.

Popular Japanese singer/songwriter Halko Momoi will be giving a free concert at 6.30pm at the mainstage on Burgplatz TODAY, Oct 14.

As part of the Organ Festival currently running until November 7, the fabulous Wadokyo Drums will be in concert with organ player Robert Mäuer at the Christus Church, Kruppstr 13, 40227 Düsseldorf

Famous now all over the region, hundreds of thousands flock to the city come nightfall for the spectacular fireworks display over the Rhine, a gift from the Japanese community to the city of Düsseldorf for the many years of hospitality.
Düsseldorf is after all home to one of the largest
Japanese communities worldwide outside of Japan.
